The International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) is an American multinational technology and consulting corporation. It is headquartered in Armonk, New York, United States. It was founded by Thomas J. Watson and Charles Ranlett Flint on June 16, 1911 at Endicott, New York, U.S.A. IBM manufactures and markets computer hardware and software, and offers infrastructure, hosting and consulting services in areas ranging from mainframe computers to nanotechnology.
